Smith Boyd stopped by the gallery and offered a unique glimpse into his meticulous process of designing and selecting materials for a major project. Part of his process is to use a camera phone to snap photos of moodboards, allowing him to view the composition from a different perspective and make necessary adjustments. He calls it a third-eye perspective. This technique ensures that the colors and textures harmonize perfectly.

He emphasized the responsibility of designers to be good stewards of their clients’ investments, ensuring every choice contributes to a timeless, functional, and beautiful space.
