Cambria has helped a myriad of commercial entities grow their businesses through the quality and variety of its design offerings. From design-forward hotels and award-winning restaurants to sensational sports venues, the unmatched performance, industry-leading service, and continuous design innovation of Cambria transforms any commercial space into an industry role model.

Embassy Suites, College Station

The Embassy Suites by Hilton in College Station, Texas, serves as a popular destination for families and visitors at Texas A&M University. With many coming and going, the quartz can easily be cleaned to ensure cleanliness even during the busiest seasons. American-made quality and the Cambria Full Lifetime Warranty were other important aspects when selecting surfaces for the space. The hotel elevated the look of its lobby with a Cambria Bellingham™ waterfall-edge reception desk without sacrificing performance.

The hotel carried through the Bellingham design to unique elements like the elevator bank, where American-made quartz stands up to heavy machinery and ongoing foot traffic.

Baccarat Hotel

After originally installing marble surfaces, the 5-star Baccarat Hotel in New York City noticed significant wear and tear on these in just a short time. With the goal of upgrading to a surface with a similar look and feel but without the maintenance, the hotel worked with Cambria to create custom Ella™ tabletops. The quartz is scratch and stain resistant to items such as wine, and is also food-safe, nonporous, and nonabsorbent so it will stand up to everyday use by guests.

Hotel Ivy

The Hotel Ivy in downtown Minneapolis unveiled its modern wellness retreat Anda Spa after a multiyear renovation to create a premier wellness destination. The goal was to create memorable guest experiences by pairing exceptional product design and functionality with a culture of service excellence. Throughout the space, you will find multiple installs of Cambria, which play a big part in the biophilic design, as collaborated on by Wischermann PartnersESG Architecture & Design, and Cambria.

With the theme “nourish the spirit” at the heart of the design focus, ESG Architecture and Design partnered with Cambria to add an element of crystal-based practices with Cambria surfaces. “I wouldn’t use the word ‘trendy’ but rather more so at the forefront of today. We used crystals as the medium for bringing Nordic culture, wellness, and healing to the spa,” says Jennifer Blacker, Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Brands, Wischermann Partners.

Cambria helped ESG interpret the selected color palette through the 200+ designs offered to fit each application in the space. The statement-making black and white monochromatic Rose Bay Cambria design welcomes guests at the front desk and is immediately share-worthy; an oversized slab of Skara Brae™ dramatizes the lobby; and the natural large veining of Brittanicca Warm™ covers the locker room showers and fireplace.

The ESG team also looked for product solutions to the challenges of the spa environment, those being the inevitable humidity, moisture, and acid- and oil-based skincare treatments. Because Cambria is durable, nonabsorbent, and maintenance free, it easily met the demands of the spa design. In addition, no grout offers a cleaner, more hygienic surface without the maintenance.

Intercontinental Minneapolis

The InterContinental Minneapolis hotel features a variety of Cambria throughout the space. In the guest rooms, a maintenance-free Cambria Ella vanity offers easy-to-clean surfaces without grout or the need to seal or polish, saving hotel staff time when cleaning and disinfecting each room. Because Cambria is nonabsorbent, both employees and guests alike benefit from the hygienic surface that doesn’t harbor bacteria.

Westin Edina

The Westin Edina Galleria recently completed a multimillion-dollar upgrade to the lobby, which included adding a new café, Prelude. The restaurant features a standout Cambria Galloway™ countertop that fits seamlessly with the other design elements, is food-safe and maintenance free.
