Our Favorite Green Kitchen Design Ideas
Chrome Green Cabinets Paired with Black Quartz Countertops
In the kitchen of this Katonah, New York, home, Colombian interior designer Alberto Villalobos leaned into the inherent contrast by pairing Benjamin Moore Chrome Green kitchen cabinets with Cambria Black™ countertops.
“It was the perfect choice, because it’s a true, deep black, and the material is in perfect keeping with our whole ethos for the design—sticking with the kinds of highly functional, durable materials that the modernists favored, while introducing some high-end luxury,” explains Villalobos to Cambria Style.
The black and green hues pop against a standout gold backsplash and graphic custom-designed ochre terrazzo tiles. New oversize windows bathe the entire space in natural light, further spotlighting the vibrant color moments.
“The kitchen ceilings are the lowest in the house, barely eight feet in most areas, so those big windows made a huge impact on the work space and brought light into the adjoining family room,” says Villalobos to Cambria Style.
Designer Alberto Villalobos expertly contrasted polished Cambria Black countertops with unique gold backsplash tiles and linear terrazzo flooring.
Emerald Green Kitchen Island Paired with White Perimeter Cabinets & Brittanicca Warm™ Countertops
Emerald green island cabinetry paired with Brittanicca Warm (a great marble alternative) quartz backsplash and countertops, matte Café appliances, and gold hardware lends warmth to this cozy kitchen.
We love how the warm veining in Brittanicca Warm pairs with emerald green cabinetry.
Bold Green Kitchen Cabinets with Ivybridge™ Quartz Countertops & Backsplash
Cambria recently introduced Ivybridge—with veins that streak across the design with compelling movement.
The dark teal pattern creates depth and adds dimension to the stark white background, and the captivating mid-tone bridges the gap between warm and cool colors while being uplifting on its own.
Nowhere is that clearer than in this bold kitchen design, where the Ivybridge countertops and backsplash highlight the warm green tones.

The juxtaposition lends itself well to this green kitchen design, adding life to the moss green cabinetry while still maintaining an overall soothing aesthetic.

Emerald Green Kitchen Cabinets Add a Splash of Color to This White & Gray Space
Deep jewel tones are having a moment, from fashion to home design, and emerald green kitchen cabinets are a lush choice that can make your space stand out without being too over the top. This vibrant hue (Lafayette Green, Benjamin Moore) pairs perfectly with bold movement, as seen here with a statement Brittanicca™ quartz backsplash and countertops. Brass hardware adds a glamorous final touch.

Hunter Green Cabinets Stand Out Against a White Backsplash & Countertop
For an inspired alternative to black, consider deep forest green for your kitchen cabinets. This woodland hue is a natural complement to wood accents and we love the coziness that this shade exudes.
In this kitchen, Hunter Green by Benjamin Moore offers chic contrast to crisp white quartz countertops. The Ella™ quartz kitchen island countertop features delicate linear gray veins, paired with an understated Whitehall™ perimeter, elongated hexagon tile, open shelving, and blonde wood flooring.

Pine Green Kitchen Cabinetry with White Quartz Countertops
This dreamy green kitchen seems straight out of a fairy-tale forest. We love how cabinets in this saturated shade (Jack Pine, also known as Silver Pine, Benjamin Moore) pair with crisp, white Newport quartz countertops for a romantic and cozy farmhouse palette. Teal Green Cabinets with Gray Matte Quartz Countertops
Flat-panel cabinetry in a muted teal green hue pairs with Ella Matte™ countertops and a grid-pattern subway tile backsplash in The Effortless Chic’s scandi-style kitchen. The serene yet spirited blue-green shade (Mountain Pine, Behr) on the cabinetry grounds the space, while blonde wood open shelving showcases complementary pops of color.
We love how the backsplash tiles’ stacked pattern contrasts the organic movement of Ella Matte quartz, while the grout complements the white quartz countertops’ gray veining.
