- Where to see Cambria
- Think about what complements your lifestyle. If you entertain guests frequently, choose materials that support a simple design. Clean lines and light colors tend to open up a room, making it appear larger and more accommodating to groups. When selecting finishing pieces, avoid clutter by choosing fewer items that incorporate complementary colors and make a bold statement.

- In the midst of a hefty home transformation, homeowners tend to tire of the clutter that comes with remodeling and redecorating and the numerous decisions that need to be made. This causes you to eventually lose focus on the project details, which can result in an unfinished design. A solution is to take things one step at a time. Instead of working to update multiple rooms, focus on one room, finish that project and move on to the next. You will not only reduce the chaos in your home, but will be surprised that the outcome of one room will influence the design of the next.

To demonstrate the design versatility of Cambria Natural Quartz Surfaces™, Cambria partnered with American Standard to photograph some truly unique applications of Cambria in kitchens and baths. The dramatic use of color and texture featured in these designs showcases the application versatility of Cambria. Unlike granite, which is difficult to design using more than one color in a room, Cambria offers four different color collections that can be mixed-and-matched to create a unified design. This feature allows endless opportunities to incorporate multiple colors on a variety of surfaces. Using Cambria throughout the home creates depth and character and allows for creativity and individual style.

Barbara Rosier had her dream come true when former supermodel Cheryl Tiegs and Neil Kelly Company master designer Martha Kerr visited her Portland, Oregon home in early March. Rosier won Cambria's Beautiful Design Giveaway when she was randomly chosen from more than 140,000 entrants to receive brand new Cambria quartz countertops in her kitchen as well as a design consultation with Ms. Tiegs and Ms. Kerr.
Mrs. Rosier said, "I was shocked and speechless when I got the call saying I had won."
Together Mrs. Rosier, Ms. Tiegs and Ms. Kerr selected Cambria's Windsor™ from the Quarry Collection™ to complement Rosier's oak cabinets. They also decided to improve the kitchen's work space and visual appeal with several ideas from Ms. Kerr, including new lighting and cabinet hardware.

Rosier said that she is thrilled to receive new Cambria countertops. "There's no maintenance! It's twice as hard as granite and non-porous, so I won't need any chemical cleaners or sealers."
Martha Kerr recommends Cambria countertops for her clients at Neil Kelly because the company is committed to sustainability and environmental concerns. She said, "Quartz products from Italy, Israel and Korea have been available for 8 or 10 years. I appreciate the fact that Cambria products are North American-made, so it doesn't take so much fossil fuel to transport it to this country."
The installation of Cambria countertops in Mrs. Rosier's home began in April. Look for photos of the finished project in an upcoming issue of Design Trends. Click Here to see additional photos of the design consultation at the Rosier residence.

Q: Mark from Grand Rapids, MI asks: "Where can I find Cambria? Are you located in home improvement stores, such as Home Depot or Lowes?"
