Planning Assistant

Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment.  This position will assist in evaluating, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials according to the set production schedule.


Responsibilities:

  • Review production schedules and work orders to determine materials requirements and priorities
  • Consult department supervisors or managers to assess progress and discuss needed changes
  • Participate and provide input to daily conference calls regarding shipments and production status
  • Create and deliver daily and monthly production orders
  • Revise production schedules when required
  • Analyze customer’s orders daily and input product availability dates to the customer
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet demand
  • Compile information to be used in reports to help in forecasting
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience in production planning preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ERP software is preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
