Director of Quality Assurance

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and directs the work of the quality staff at the manufacturing plant to maximize department performance and achieve company objectives
  • Monitor inspection standards, procedures, and equipment to ensure reliable results are provided
  • Mentor and develop leadership of personnel through all operational locations
  • Monitor department projects and reviews to verify development is progressing according to schedule and within budgetary guidelines
  • Oversee all new equipment and processes to ensure success
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 7+ years in increasingly complex supervisory positions
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent conceptual, technical, and financial skills
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and in support of customer relations
  • Strong motivational and management skills to encourage team to accomplish goals
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical procedures
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into operation objectives and projects
