Director of Quality Assurance

Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment.  This position is responsible for the oversight and management of the Quality departments across the Cambria FabShops.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and management of Quality Assurance Managers at company’s multiple Fabrication facilities to maximize department performance and achieve company objectives
  • Develop, review and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, quality products are produced to the requirements of the company
  • Maintain product quality be enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures with operations team
  • Mentor and develop leadership of personnel at each location
  • R&D of new fabrication techniques, product offerings and performance
  • Coordinate company initiatives on quality improvement plans and systems within the scope and goal of the project
  • Oversight and procurement of all new equipment and processes to ensure successful implementation and maintain quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 7+ years in increasingly complex supervisory positions
  • Previous experience implementing or managing and maintaining ISO or similar certifications
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent conceptual, technical and visionary skills
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels in support of customer relations
  • Strong motivational and management skills to inspire team to improve and accomplish goals of the organization
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and technical procedures
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into operation objectives and projects
